The first card in the spread represents your essence, who you are now, especially in relation to your question.
You are at a place of initiation. You are on fire. Your ideas and creativity are flowing. It also indicates an awakening of kundalini energy. A new sexual fire that ignites all of your being.


3 Swords
The card in the second place represents what’s going on for you right now in relation to your question. There is a conflict going on. It may be an internal conflict, where part of you wants to embrace your spirituality and there is another part who is uncertain or afraid. There is a third part too, and that may be the part of you who is the judge. Are you very self critical. Do you test yourself? Are you accepting of your faults? This card could also point to a conflict that is happening on a physical level. A conflict between three people and one of them is going to get hurt.

4 Discs
The card in the third place signifies what needs to be done to reach your goal, in relation to your question, what do you need to do to help to open your third eye.
This card is telling you that you need to meditate more, you need to find or make time to be alone. Close the door to your room, light a candle and just sit in the quiet. Just sit and do nothing. Just be with yourself.

Priestess of Discs
The card in this position represents the body and the unconscious mind. In relation to your question it is telling you that you will be unconsciously guided to the out doors and to nature. You might find that your car breaks down right next to a woods. If something like this happens take the opportunity that your higher-self is giving you. Go for a walk and get intouch with mother earth. You have the ability to heal and your hands will channel healing energy. There is a child in the card, this might indicate that you will have a child and after that your body will be stronger.


The Devil
Recent past

This is a big card and it indicates to me, keeping in mind your question, that there have been massive changes around you in the recent past. Control, manipulation and the need for you to break free of these. You were not in a place of power. Instead your were disempowered by your situation ond often felt as though you were trapped. That time is past now and although patterns tend to repeat themselves in life, the next time this sort of energy comes into your life it will be different. You are on a difficult path in life. You are learning harsh lessons and often that is what is needed for people to go through all the stages to get them to opening the third eye. It’s not easy, but you have asked the universe for it and now it will come to you. The work will be difficult and it will seem at times as though the pain you are going through is too much. But that is what initiation is all about. It’s not easy. Most of the time you won’t even know you are getting there. And you won’t know you are there until you are there.

There may be a time coming in of feeling spaced out, not being with the program, you might seem like an emotional wet rag. But this is something that will pass quickly.

This card represents how you see yourself in relation to where you are.

You have a good sense of reality. You sometimes doubt yourself. I will say one thing, in the central challenge, the Four of Discs, it tells you to shut yourself off and meditate and just sit and be with you. In this card, how you see yourself, you might feel a little isolated and guilty when you shut yourself off. Let that guilt go, it is holding you back.

You have a fear that you are standoffish, that you come across as being cold and that you will cut yourself off from others. Your wisdom sets you apart from the rest but it makes you feel very alone sometimes.
Alone in a crowd suits you, and afraid of being alone also suits.


The Magician
This card represents the future.
You will feel empowered when you are empowered. You will feel as though you are there, when really you are at the start of a new journey. Remember these words “not enlightened: fetch wood carry water – enlightened: fetch wood carry water”.
It’s another big step but it will feel as though your feet are not touching the ground.

Have you ever dreamed of walking and not getting anywhere? In life at time it may seem like this. There are times when you may feel like everything you believe is challenged and that your foundations are shaken. It will be another stage in the initiation. It will take you to a place of not questioning. You might become sceptic. When this happens remember that this is where you are meant to be.
You will move quickly in to the place the next card represents

The Hierophant
This is another plateau. Like the Devil card it will be a life changing period. It could be a marriage, or a new job. But you may find you are coming up against the same challenges as before but it will not be the same. This is all a part of the plan. It will get you to the place where your third eye will open. Soon you might find that you no longer care about opening your third eye. This is when you are getting close.

Look out for feelings of entrapment and control. They may be a part of the process, they may be learnings, they may be something that you need to learn through. The lesson will keep coming up until you learn it. The opening of your third eye is something that you have asked the universe for. It is yours and so is the journey.
Be open, strong and know that the darkest hour is just before dawn.
