I will tell you a little bit about
White Witch Sweet Heart.

Well, when I received my first set of perfume essences from Mandy Aftel my daughter was with me. We opened all the little bottles and smelled each one. Karma said she loved the Ylang Ylang best of all. I took a mental note as I thought I might include it in a perfume for her. I bought a small sample of vanilla absolute, Karma loved that too. I decided to put them together. Then I noticed that Karma also loved the small sample of Aftelier Pink Lotus. One of the top notes of Pink Lotus is pink grapefruit, so that was the next addition to the blend. I had the basic shape I wanted, then I began to build up around it.
I have a liking for "powdery finishes" and that is what I wanted. I also wanted a femine scent which was floral without being overbearing. I also wanted it to be fresh and a bit raw.
I worked hard to get the formula just right. Vanilla prooved tricky because it is so thick and black and treacle like. I would have to leave the perfume marinating basically and then decant off the juice once the vanilla note had taken.
I did get the powdery finish I was looking for, and the perfume lasts on my fair skin about 6 hours, which is a long time for a natural perfume.
